Plural Browser: Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Vendor: Apt Stack Consulting LLC ("Apt Stack," "we," "us," or "our"), a New Mexico (USA) limited liability company.

Product: Plural Browser ("Plural," the "Software," or the "Service"), a privacy-focused, Chromium-based multi-profile ("anti-detect") desktop browser for macOS and Windows in which each tab or profile runs an isolated identity (cookies, storage, browser fingerprint, and an assigned proxy).

Effective date: 20 August 2026

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (together, the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or the "Customer") and Apt Stack. They govern your download, installation, access to, and use of Plural, the marketing site at pluralbrowser.com, the account and billing application at app.pluralbrowser.com, and the licence API at api.pluralbrowser.com (collectively, the "Sites").

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, ACCESSING, OR USING PLURAL, OR BY CLICKING TO ACCEPT, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, INSTALL, OR USE PLURAL.

1. Acceptance & eligibility

1.1 By accepting these Terms, or by downloading, installing, or using Plural, you represent and warrant that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2 Age. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use Plural. Plural is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

1.3 Capacity & authority. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using Plural on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity, in which case "you" and "Customer" refer to that entity.

1.4 Where you may use Plural. You represent that you are not located in, and are not a resident of, any country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. Government restricted-party or denied-party list. You agree to comply with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws.

2. Licence grant

2.1 Grant. Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms (including timely payment and compliance with the Acceptable Use Policy referenced in Section 5), Apt Stack grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use Plural for your personal or internal business purposes, for the duration of a valid, paid subscription.

2.2 Per-device licensing. Each licence key entitles you to one (1) active device at a time. Deactivating a device may be required before activating the licence on a different device. Subscription tiers (see Section 3) may permit additional concurrent devices; the number of devices permitted is defined by the tier you purchase.

2.3 Restrictions. Except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:

(a) resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make Plural available to any third party;

(b) share, publish, or transfer your licence key, or use a single licence key across more devices than your tier permits;

(c) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of Plural, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity notwithstanding this restriction (in which case you will first give us written notice and an opportunity to assist);

(d) modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of Plural, or remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices;

(e) circumvent, disable, or interfere with any licensing, security, kill-switch, or usage-metering mechanism in Plural;

(f) use Plural to build a competing product or service, or copy any feature, function, or interface of Plural for that purpose; or

(g) use Plural in violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, these Terms, or applicable law.

2.4 Open-source components. Plural is based on the Chromium project and may include third-party and open-source software subject to their own licences. Those licences govern your use of the applicable components and, to the extent required, take precedence over these Terms for those components. A list of such components and their licences may be provided with the Software or on the Sites.

2.5 Reservation. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Apt Stack and its licensors. This is a licence, not a sale; you acquire no ownership interest in Plural.

3. Subscriptions, billing, auto-renewal & price changes

3.1 Plans and pricing. Plural is offered as a subscription in several tiers, billed monthly or annually. The tiers, their current prices, features, device limits, and any promotional pricing are shown on pluralbrowser.com and in your account at app.pluralbrowser.com, and the price that applies to you is the one displayed at checkout. Prices may change as described in section 3.6.

3.2 Payment processor. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for all fees due. Apt Stack does not store or process your full payment card details; card data is handled by Stripe.

3.3 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly for monthly plans and annually for annual plans) and automatically renew for successive periods of the same length until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the then-current price for each renewal term, until you cancel.

3.4 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through app.pluralbrowser.com (or by contacting support). Cancellation stops the next renewal; it takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for.

3.5 Refunds. First-time purchasers may request a full refund within 7 days of their initial purchase (a 7-day money-back window), as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy at /refunds. Otherwise, and except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period starts, and partial billing periods are not refunded or pro-rated.

3.6 Price changes. We may change subscription prices. For an existing subscription, any price change applies to renewal terms beginning after we give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email or through the Sites. If you do not agree to a new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect; continuing to use Plural after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

3.7 Taxes. Stated prices exclude taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes, except taxes based on Apt Stack's net income.

3.8 Failed payments. If a charge fails, we may retry and may suspend or terminate your access until payment is made (see Section 11).

4. Chargebacks & payment disputes

4.1 If you believe you have been billed in error, contact us first at hello@aptstack.com so we can resolve it.

4.2 Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, or filing a dispute we determine to be fraudulent or in bad faith, is a material breach of these Terms. We may, in response, suspend or terminate your access and licence, disable affected licence keys, and recover amounts owed and reasonable costs, as permitted by law and by Stripe's rules.

5. Acceptable use

5.1 AUP incorporated. Your use of Plural is subject to the Plural Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is available at /acceptable-use. Compliance with the AUP is a condition of your licence. A violation of the AUP is a material breach of these Terms.

5.2 Lawful use only. You may use Plural only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Plural is intended for legitimate uses, including managing multiple business, social, or marketplace accounts; ad and creative verification; market and price research; web automation and quality-assurance testing; and privacy.

5.3 No help evading laws or fraud controls. Nothing in Plural or these Terms authorizes, and you may not use Plural to, commit fraud, engage in unlawful account activity, evade laws, or defeat the fraud-prevention or security controls of any third party. The isolation, fingerprinting, and proxy features exist to support the legitimate uses above, not to facilitate deception that is unlawful or that violates a third party's rights.

5.4 The AUP controls the specifics of prohibited conduct; this Section does not limit it. Where these Terms and the AUP overlap, both apply.

6. Your responsibilities

6.1 Use of identities and proxies. You are solely responsible for how you configure and use isolated identities, browser fingerprints, and proxies in Plural, including the sources and lawfulness of any proxies you connect and the accounts you operate.

6.2 Third-party sites and services. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms of service, acceptable-use rules, and other requirements of any third-party website, platform, marketplace, or service you access using Plural. Apt Stack is not a party to your relationship with those third parties and is not responsible for their content, terms, or actions, including any suspension or termination of your accounts by them.

6.3 Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and licence keys and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

6.4 Your data and configurations. You are responsible for your own configurations, profiles, and data, and for maintaining your own backups. Plural is a desktop application; profile data primarily resides on your device.

7. Intellectual property

7.1 Plural, the Sites, and all related software, code, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (including "Plural Browser" and "Plural") are and remain the exclusive property of Apt Stack and its licensors, and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Chromium and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

7.2 Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant Apt Stack a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it without restriction or obligation to you.

8. Disclaimers of warranty

8.1 PLURAL AND THE SITES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APT STACK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 We do not warrant that Plural will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components; that any fingerprint, isolation, or proxy feature will prevent detection or identification by any third party; or that Plural will meet your requirements or achieve any particular result. You assume all risk arising from your use.

8.3 Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APT STACK AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR FOR THE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF ANY THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PLURAL OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

9.2 AGGREGATE CAP. APT STACK'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PLURAL OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO APT STACK FOR PLURAL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

9.3 These limitations apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Apt Stack and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of Plural; (b) your violation of these Terms or the AUP; (c) your violation of any law or of the rights or terms of any third party (including any platform or website you access); or (d) your configuration or use of identities, fingerprints, proxies, or accounts.

11. Suspension & termination

11.1 By you. You may stop using Plural and cancel your subscription at any time as described in Section 3.4.

11.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your licence, account, or access to Plural and the Sites, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if: (a) you breach these Terms or the AUP; (b) your payment fails or you are otherwise past due; (c) you initiate an abusive or fraudulent chargeback or payment dispute; (d) we reasonably believe your use is fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful to us, other users, or third parties; or (e) we are required to do so by law or by our payment processor.

11.3 Right to refuse or reverse service. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or discontinue service to anyone, and to disable or reverse access (including deactivating licence keys and revoking active devices), in response to fraud, chargeback abuse, sanctions or export-control concerns, or unlawful use. Where practicable and lawful, we will give notice, but we may act immediately to prevent harm, fraud, or legal exposure.

11.4 Effect of termination. On termination, your licence ends and you must stop using and uninstall Plural. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 2.3 to 2.5, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.4, 13, and 14) survive termination. No refund is owed for termination arising from your breach.

12. Updates to the software

We may release updates, patches, and new versions of Plural, and may modify, add, or remove features. Some updates may be required for continued use or security. You consent to automatic download and installation of updates where enabled; you may be able to disable automatic updates in settings, but doing so may affect functionality, security, or eligibility for support.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email or through the Sites before they take effect. Changes apply prospectively. Your continued use of Plural after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using Plural and may cancel your subscription.

14. Governing law, venue & dispute resolution

14.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable U.S. federal law.

14.2 Venue. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have, you and Apt Stack agree that the state and federal courts located in New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. General

15.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the AUP and any order or plan details, are the entire agreement between you and Apt Stack regarding Plural and supersede prior agreements on the subject.

15.2 Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

15.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

15.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15.5 Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

15.6 Notices. We may provide notices by email or through the Sites. Notices to us should be sent to hello@aptstack.com.
