Getting started
1. Install#
Download Plural from pluralbrowser.com (or from your account at app.pluralbrowser.com).
macOS (Apple Silicon)
- Open the
.dmgand drag Plural Browser into Applications. - The first time you open it, macOS may say it cannot verify the app. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway.
Windows (64-bit)
- Run the setup
.exe. - If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.
2. Activate#
When Plural opens it asks for your licence key — it arrives by email after you subscribe and looks like PLU-xxxxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx…. Paste it and click Activate.
- One key covers the number of devices your plan includes. Using it on a new computer takes a free device slot; to move it, remove the old device from your account at app.pluralbrowser.com/dash, then activate on the new one.
- Reinstalling on the same computer does not use an extra device.
3. The control page#
Everything is managed on chrome://pluralbrowser (Plural opens it for you). The top bar shows your plan, how many proxies you have loaded, how many tabs are open, and your Plural version.
4. Updates#
When a new version is out, Plural shows "Plural X is available" at the top of chrome://pluralbrowser. Click it, download, and install over the old version — your proxies, identities, scripts and settings are kept. If an update is marked as required, older versions stop working soon after; install it and paste your licence key once if asked.
